I thought it was in the video. at the 45-49 second mark, that looks like she fired. granted it was a cut up video, but I didn't see anything before that showing shots going at her.People are people and find a million different ways to act in emergency situations. I always see cops say this in crime documentaries, "That's not how I would act if my spouse had just been killed." when the truth is, none of us have any idea how we would act unless we've been in a similar situation.
I'm also not sure she started a fire fight. I'll need that proven before I believe it. All we have is the cop's narration of events, and they could be wrong or lying. Can they even prove her gun was fired?
I would understand the "not sure what I would actually do" in that situation. but I am pretty sure I wouldn't be walking around that calmly. It would make more sense, if she heard a commotion, jumps up grabs her gun, runs outside, sees some figures (cops) and shoots at them, that would qualify for the bad situation freak out. but thats not what happened. we don't see what happens before, but she calmly walks out, gets close to the fence, talks with the guys, and then looks like she fires first, then calmly walks back inside. that is not a "freakout".
idk maybe she was high, but I don't buy that as a heat of the moment situation.
