Its time to prepare to rip a new one to all of these people that got our hopes up for nothing. AGAIN!!!
I say we wait and prepare until 3 then if nothin happends(And it won't.) then we witch hunt the insiders. Several have said a deal has been made and several have said monday, or after the season.

The after the season thing is crackers. A sack of wheat thins could win out and get to 8-5 with the offense we have. And Dooley won't be fired for an 8-5 season Which means another year of lossing every game that means anything.

I am tired of dooley, :horse: And its time to pay up and get himout.

Dude, why does anyone listen to some of this? Until it is siad on national or local news, it's bullsnoot. I want Dolley out too but if they just hire another coach cause they need too, I'd rather keep the soup sandwich we have now. We know what to expect from him, can I handle 4th year of Vandy statues, nope but batter than just anyone.

Honestly, I think we should have a stickied thread here and quote all the posts of people who guarantee things in it. This should go for people with "insider" knowledge about who is getting hired and fired as well as those who "guarantee" that we'll beat this or that team or who are "absolutely certain" Dooley will work out. Think of it as like as sort of a first stop info thread, where you can see exactly which posters are totally full of ****.

Anyone who listens to these "insiders" is just plain stupid and deserves to be very disappointed right now. It happens over and over and over again and many of you never ever learn. You just buy right in to anything that is said on here.

Yep. Unfortunately excuses will be thrown out after Gruden is not hiredd. Then all these so called "insiders" will get real defensive when they are called out on it. Lol " Where's Randy Shannon". Oh yeah, Dooley cut that "deal" last minute.

I am not an insider. I have never claimed to be an insider. I don't listen to myself often, but when I do it is because I'm right.

If someone hears something from someone they trust to be credible I don't mind them sharing - we have to realize that it might not be gospel that's what's going to happen (things can change and there's a lot of people involved). If someone is repeating garbage from just anybody or making stuff up just to mess with people - :bad:

Insiders are trying to help us get through this period of transition by giving us something postive and hopeful to focus on instead of ripping each other apart like we've been doing at least since Joker gave us the KY jelly last year. IGBOK

I ate lunch with Jeff Hall last week, and am family/1st name basis with CPF.... And I'm not an insider.

I don't have any "close sources" in the AD, in the parking lot of the AD, restroom of the AD, friends of booster in the AD, etc etc etc.

Tired of merc hires. Any VOL alumni out there that would be good replacements? There seems to be very little, in terms of, Majors/Fulmer coaching tree's. Wouldn't Gruden qualify as 1(86-87)?

The problem here isn't the "insiders." It's the people who get their hopes so unrelentingly pinned to what they say that when it doesn't turn out true or maybe even just gets shifted a little, they break down and call for "witch hunts."

It's a message board. Maybe we should all learn to Internet better.
