That is what I thought too. Coming back in, and immediately running, it made me think he just had a pop out / pop in type deal. I had one of those back in high school and while it hurts, it is not unbearable to deal with. It feels really funky in the moment but after it settles back in it is instant relief.probably just a dislocated shoulder on his non throwing arm
I wonder what injury he actually had with the shoulder thing. They said on tv that they just needed to adjust the pads. He did put some balls in the dirt. He did make a couple of deep throws.
I had a dislocation that wasn’t put back into place for about 3 hours after it popped out. It took 3 months and PT for me to regain my full range of motion. Just turning my head was painful for the first week after it happened. That is what I thought too. Coming back in, and immediately running, it made me think he just had a pop out / pop in type deal. Not sure what this "Shawshank Redemption" line is trying to convey. I guess it is my usual lack of understanding that has left me guessing...."Faizon crawled through five hundreds yards of "poop" smelling foulness that we cannot even imagine. That's the length of five football fields. AND CAME OUT CLEAN ON THE OTHER SIDE"........
Well, I am going off the assumption it was not fully dislocated in his case, like mine. My instance I got slammed hard on the shoulder and could tell it had popped out slightly, with very sharp immediate pain and a "drooping" feeling on that arm, but when I reactively moved my arm, I felt it pop back in and the sharp pain subsided immediately. Very limited pain after that happened. Sore for sure, but nothing out of the ordinary. I did not have any noticeable range of motion issues, but I was sore enough to just not lift my arm over my head for a week or so.I had a dislocation that wasn’t put back into place for about 3 hours after it popped out. Does it really not impact you that much if it is put back in shortly after dislocating? Genuinely curious.
Actually went to the hospital and then came back. How many of you gray beards remember Condredge Holloway getting banged up. Taken
Into the locker room, then come charging back on the field.![]()
