Any news on Ben Martin's Injury?

If it's not his ACL, what else would it be. People said you could hear him screaming, what else would it be?

I tore my ACL in a college football injury at UT. Ok, it was only intramural flag football, but I tore it totally through nonetheless. In my case the pain wasn't so bad that I was screaming, so I'm not sure that this means it was definitely an ACL.

I tore my ACL and MCL my senior year in high school football. When it first happened, it hurt a little, but I felt like I could have finished the game. The pain was that bad. The worst thing for me was all the rehab and getting my knee back to full strength

Obviously we all hope he is ok.

Jammal Brown went down with a knee injury at Saints camp a couple of weeks ago. He was screaming in pain and had to be carted off the field. Turned out it was "just" a bone bruise. Certainly could have been a lot lot worse. I am hoping Ben's injury is more like that.

Well, some people are tough and others aren't. Here's hoping his injury isn't serious but we need more tough players on our team.

Well you guys are more man than me, I've torn both ACL and screamed like a little girl. I have no idea what happened but truly hope it was not an ACL. The therapy alone is reason to feel bad.

I've never had any ligament damage but have heard the rehab is more painful than the injury. Is that bs?

I was sitting very close to the field and I didn't hear him screaming but there were others closer to where he went down than I was so.....

I would really hate to see Martin's developement hurt by an unfortunant injury, he looks like a tremendous player already.

I hope the kid is OK. I have mixed feelings after reading the reports from this last scrimmage. We sound like we are sloppy on offense and losing players to injury. Colquitt with a strained quad is never a good thing and Mitchell with a concussion could be a lagging injury. Not a good vibe coming out of this scrimmage.

I've not heard alot about sloppy. I've heard we dropped some passes, but that is it.

The only potentially serious injury is Martin's. The rest shouldn't keep anyone out of contact.

Seems like everything is settling in nicely, though the TEs need to start catching balls.

that's what I've been thinking, the TE's have yet to show up.

Getting conflicting reports from news sources about last night's scrimmage.

The kicking was done by the backups. Cunningham didn't look bad as the punter, just not as inconsistent as we'd like. Lincoln didn't have a good day at all.

Like I said, we had some drops(mainly from the TEs).

Berry did prove to be human when he fumbled the opening KO. Doesn't mean he is fumble prone though.

Fulmer said himself in the article that, if you take away the drops, it was a good day on offense.
