Any new on Oku and Brown?

I actually think he is waiting on Bryce Brown to make a decision. Whether he is willing to wait that long remains to be seen.

It that's the case, then let's take Brown, and tell Oku to go jump off a cliff.........:eek:lol:

seriously despite the hesitation because of Brown's off field situation, i personally feel Oku is the bigger cancer threat.

Oklahoma's fan base has been particularly vocal about this kids me first attitude.

From all we've seen, Brown is a good kid with a big brother and a guy that may or may not be looking out for his best interests.

Switch their rivals rankings and i'd still want Brown based on character.

Oku is a joke.....he's overrated anyways......Brown will be ten times better football player.........Brown will be playin' on Sundays........Oku will be washin the dishes.....

My view on it is that Brown isn't looking for a hand out, niether is his "handler," yet. I think they are looking at the best opportunity to get Brown into the NFL, and this is where the handler is going to get his money. I think the reason UT has a good chance at picking up BB, is the fact that Kiffin has said many times that UT is going to be a training ground for the NFL. I think BB and his handler see that, and are very interested in this.

Also I bet Oku knows this, and thats the reason he's jumping ship from UT. Also he seems like a very wierd guy, maybe another pterodactyl speaker?

I think the only thing that has me more excited about potentially getting Brown than seeing him on the field, is seeing how the rest of the nation will react when CLK brings in the num 1 prospect, after a 5-7 season, in his first year, with only around 3 months time...

BAM!

1 question.

What happened to "the spreads not for me"?

Seems like he was uncommited even when he was commited.

Are you for real??? That was based on an inaccurate report by the KNS on signing day. They had several of those that were absolutely wrong. There is certainly no indication on the part of Oku that he is going to sign with Auburn and UT coaches have remained in contact with him.

I believe I did say its not a for sure thing

Brown will be playing on Sundays but how much are we willing to put up with to get that kind of player? I don't know much about the guy at all and don't want to bash, but all of these delays seem to come from prima donna's. I want a superstar running back as much as anyone else, but can we expect hard smash running from him or will he be a Nogame Moreno and take himself out of every other play on the field?

I would love to have a back on the field with Moreno's talent

Me too, just not his attitude, which is what I pick up from Brown. Moreno would take himself out after each run during his Junior year. With a little more heart UGA could have performed better I believe.

Just how bad is Creer or Hardesty or Poole or Williams that we are willing to sell out to Oku and Brown.

Apparently you don't follow recruiting. 3 days is an eternity. There was also an article 3 days ago saying Marlon Brown was going to Ohio State. You want to argue the validity of that one too??

I find it pretty funny that you feel the need to argue like this with someone you will never meet over a football message board

I find it pretty funny that instead of admitting you were wrong, you felt the need to bash another poster.

How is pursuing Oku and Brown "selling out"? They are two of the best recruits in the country. We would be absolutely stupid if we didn't try to get them.
