Premiere League & World Soccer Thread

The EPL really does find itself in a sticky situation here. On one hand they HAVE to be concerned with everyone's health and safety, but at the same time, no other league in the world will face such complicated issues (potential lawsuits) if they just abandon the season at this point. You've got a team who haven't won the league in three decades with the league all but won, but not just quite mathematically yet. Tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars are at stake with the CL and relegation/promotion places. How on earth will they sort all that out? Norwich is almost certainly going down, but there is a group of about 5 teams right above them who are separated by very little. Then you've West Brom and Leeds who are almost certainly coming up. Will be a real kick in the balls for them if the season is just voided and they have to start from scratch in August.

EPL suspended until at least April 3rd.
Definitely the right call, as several teams now have players self-isolating and waiting on test results after showing symptoms. At this point they’ll either have to cancel the end of the club season, or cancel the Euros this summer. No way to fit both in, and that’s assuming this thing is under control by May/June. Either way it’s going to be a mess.

Arsenal's entire full squad is in isolation until March 24.

Gio Reyna getting his first start with Dortmund and McKennie starting for Schalke.

Looking forward to seeing Gio, his father is still my favorite US player.
