Any hints from NCarolina or National Media?

Dont let this administration lower your expectations im not and im not going to give up until there is ink dry on some paper work ..

dude. we're literally being told what to expect.

i seen no reason to invest any more emotional or financial equity in to this fruitless endeavour.

we are a 2nd tier (at best) program, and it's 'time to act accordingly. i won't go to any more games. i won't schedule my saturdays around this program any more.

i'll keep up with the scores and watch highlights like i do with all other 2nd rate things i have casual interest in.

IT DOESN'T DESERVE MY EXPECTATIONS ANYMORE.

It's almost as if the admin is trying to teach the fan base a lesson. That we'd pay $14 mil to end up with the same type coach with almost identical results. Incredible.

When they begin losing millions upon millions in revenue and donations, it will be them that’s learning a lesson

You don't call Les . Don't need someone that has proven he is not a match to Saban, with teams as talented as you will find.

What coach do you think has the resume that screams "I can beat Nick Saban's Alabama teams consistently?"

Here's the thing, for the foreseeable future, and with solid recruiting and player development, UT will (at best) have the third best roster on our schedule. For the time being there are a bunch of other schools we need to start beating regularly before we start culling candidates who can't beat the team who has been one of the top two teams in the country for the better part of a decade.

At this point, it would be an absolute coup to find the guy that can beat Vandy, Mizzouri, Kentucky, and SCAR 90% of the time, and go 50/50 with UGA/UF. Do that, and I'll take my chances that the guy can put up a real fight against Bama. Do that for a few years, and you'll start accumulating the talent to really start to set your sites on beating Bama. Further, and finally, we need to start positioning ourselves in a post Saban SEC. That means being the school that is constantly in the hunt for the east with a healthy roster, solid coaching, and low turn over.

For the record, I'm not saying that we should hire Miles, I'm just saying we shouldn't cull him because he didn't beat Saban regularly. No one has.

I keep refreshing all kinds of sources trying to see or hear what Doeren has decided?
Anybody heard anything at all?
Really hope he says no and we look at Tee, Morris, Steele, or even Kiffin.

After the last 2 days I don't trust the media on this. The only honest thing Currie has said in this whole process is to not believe anything until he announces it.

kiffin is never going to get this job again. never. doesn't matter if you or i want it to happen (and i'd be for it mind you), it just isn't happening.

Exactly! He embarrassed too many of the big money diners on the way out, and powerful people like that hold grudges.

#SEC staff tells me Doeren is expected formally turn down UT. Agent also informs me “Don’t think he wants in that.” Watch Pruitt, Miles, perhaps Sumlin, Leach. Maybe they’ll finally call Tee or Lane?

I want to believe this will happen, but I fear it won't. We are good hearted people and always turn the other cheek so to speak. Most will give boring Doeren a chance. Attendance will be great first few games. Lots of PR garbage, more brick by brick, rise to the top propaganda...MOST will buy in. NOT me, F Haslam, F Peyton, sorry bev and currie, you are just puppets and I wouldn't waste my time with you.

I will not give another cent. PERIOD!

At this point I'd be happy with any of those

You shouldn't call him because no one has. There is a reason for that.

credibility at his point. I agree with your suggestion and have been saying the same thing for a week now. It is the only way to bring credibility back to the program. Make Fulmer AD, or interim coach, bring in top coordinators such as Tee or Steele as an on the job trial for HC for a year. After next season promote one to head coach, move Fulmer to AD. and move forward rebuilding this team and program.

hell. why not just burn it down. it would quicker and easier

He turned us down is what I am seeing...thankfully. We did help get him a raise/extension though. I am surprised that all coaches are not calling acting interested just to get their raises.
