I never thought to ask anyone on VolNation before, but are there any e-cig users? I've been vaping since February and I really enjoy it. Not that I don't want a real cigarette every now and then, but the health benefits are just too great and it's WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY cheaper than analogs (vapers' jargon:lol:)

I'm using the Evolution-X. It puts out good vapor and the battery lasts forever (900 mah). I'd recommend it, but it may be discontinued because the biggest thing right now seems to be the eGo-T (which I am planning on getting soon). Totally Wicked's menthol e-liquid is by far the best I've had.

A guy I work with just started with an e-cig... been a life long smoker. I'm not sure what kind he has, but it actually looks like a cigarette. White in color and puts out a small odorless smoke.

Yeah I used to have one that actually looked like a real cig, but those batteries were so small and weak. But the ones you're talking about are really cheap, so I see the incentive.

Btw, you may already know, but they actually don't produce any smoke. They just put out vapor from the e-liquid, which is glycerin-based. They vaporize instead of burn - no chemical reaction (which creates the tar & CO in normal 'rettes) - just a physical change, like water going to steam.

Not judging, but you have just as good of a chance getting mouth cancer with dip as you do lung cancer with cigs.

I bet you generally feel better and after 3 months, your senses of smell and taste should be back to normal.

Skoal is harder to quit than cigs.

Yeah, i know it's not a freebie to switch one for one.

But I only chew regularly when i drink, and sometimes one or two a day while I'm working (If I am, as everyone knows I work depending on work)

Not pontificating about the virtues of dipping, but I feel a lot better since I've quit smoking.

The biggest difference is...I can taste my morning breath. Seriously. It's awful. Glad I made a point of maintaining dental hygeine after being mangled by an Army bonecrusher.

I bought an E-Cig and used it for a week or so. It was a good experience. But, living out here, I've went from 3 packs a day to about 8 cigs or so a day during the first 3 months. What a difference in breathing and sleeping. At 8 a day, I'm not feeling anything negative but I might go back on the E-Cig in the next few weeks.

It's tough because even though the e-cig gives you your nicotine fix, it's not as satisfying as smoke (as opposed to vapor).

I can agree with that based on the two I bought. The first few hits are OK but it drops after that. I am going to charge both up this week and give it another go. They are good for getting the nicotine hit in places where smoking isn't allowed. I'll give them that.
