I know that the media gets very limited access to early parts of practice.
Just wondering if there is anyone (besides the magnificent Fingers) that sees most or all of the practices especially the Saturday scrimmages.

Once again our bigwigs, bigshots, insiders real and fake, crafty young folk who could stand on the toilet tank and look out the bathroom window or make a make-shift periscope to look over the fence, relatives, ball boys, attention seeking media personnel and our shameless confabulators have let us down.

FWIW. I spoke with one of the coaches Saturday after scrimmage. These guys are trained to say nothing when it comes to injuries. It's crazy.

I have a family member on the team who is out with injury so I know a little bit about his prognosis. Still nothing.

Did say Jelly was all-SEC talent and the guys coming in the Fall (not just Chandler) will surprise.

Had no idea a what the Miracle of Southbend was. That kind of irked me.

Was the Miracle before the coach was born?

No.
You really think there's a coach on staff that was born after 91?

Maybe a GA. Wasn't sure. Thought I would ask.

If they haven't been with the Vols very long, maybe they have more pressing matters than one game back in the early 90's.

That was an awesome win.

Thanks for the info.
That win in South Bend was epic.

Spring practices are a waste of time. Been to many and leave with feelings of not learning anything. Usually have many key players not participating. Lot of standing around by players as they go through drills. very little 11 on 11 work.. Just a waste of time to try and learn anything.

I end up spending time socializing with people I know rather then watching what goes on.. August is 10 times better practices to see action..
