On the Tony Basilio Show it was stated that Antone Davis was not allowed to travel with the team to Florida. It was also stated that Antone had to drive his personal car to ATL for the GA Tech game.
Butch Jones is in trouble if this is true.
Of all the things Jones is getting heat for, this one seems silly.
Why would being a former player automatically allow you to fly with the team? Why should the athletic department pay for his transportation? That would get quite expensive if they had to foot the bill for every former player to go to games.

Antone is not just a former player, he is the VFL Coordinator, a paid position within the program. Jon Brice reported it on Basilio's show, and now Basilio is saying former players are calling and texting him to confirm it.
