I was reading over the reviews of all the past BCS Championship games and I noticed that an SEC team has never lost when it made it to the championship game.

As I looked a little closer I realized only one conference (the SEC) has a winning record in BCS Championship games.

SEC, 3-0
Big Ten, 1-1
Pac10, 1-1
Big 12, 2-3
ACC, 1-2
Big East, 1-2

Sorry, if some one has already pointed this out before, but I thought this was rather impressive. I think it shows that playing such a tough regular season conference schedule really helps prepare teams for the big game and bolds well for the SEC's chances once a football playoff of some kind eventually takes place.

it's also nice to know that Notre Dame has 0. Despite all the advantages they are given by the BCS system.

Simply put, ND loses their bowl game every year, because they are always playing a level above the bowl that they have truly earned, IMO.
