Agrees to play North Carolina in a trivial bowl, which occurs nine months earlier than a scheduled game that he payed several hundred thousand dollars to buy out. This is almost as egregious as the extension of Fulmer's contract, one year befor he fired him.:banghead2:

It was this bowl or no bowl. As much as I detest Hamilton, to cite accepting the MCB invitation as a reason he should be terminated is flat out idiocy.

So he should compound the mistake by taking a lesser bowl?

Didn't you hear? Sitting at home during bowl season even though you are eligible for a bowl game and get an invite to a bowl game is the way to go nowadays

This makes no sense. Be happy, maybe the players can prove to Hamilton that he should have trusted them to play NC next year and beat them. Don't be surprised if you find out that the decision to cancel was on DD not Hammy.

So a month ago we were all praying for ANY bowl game and now you want to gripe about the one we're in?! Seriously?? C'mon man!

Beggars can't be choosers.

Hey guys we are going to a Bowl Game, a game which should almost be like a home game. I dont care that is the MCB bowl, heck after a 2-6 start we came real close to not going at all. I CANT WAIT, Nashville baby, and we are going to be rocking. Go big Orange

Glad we are headed to the MCB.

Ordered our tickets earlier this week and glad this game came through, excited about seeing them take on UNC and hoping to see us close out a decent first season under CDD.

Your posting privileges should be banned. What an accomplishment this is, you have officially just written the most ignorant post of the year.
