As the NCAA was investigating a possible violation of rules by two Alabama football players (Julio Jones and Mark Ingram) who went on an all expenses paid fishing trip with Alabama booster Curtis Anderson, they stumbled across another possible violation. Jerrell Harris is suspected of receiving a free laptop from Anderson. Although the Univeristy maintains the Anderson is not a booster, it seems kind of strange that a 50 yr old white man would be so involved with 3 UA Football players.

It is unknown when a ruling will be made on this but the investigation is ongoing and the University of Alabama has asked Anderson to distance himself from the program and all players. If found to be a violation of rules, this could mean big trouble for the Tide, who are already on probation for similar violations.

Wow. If somehow this turns true and somehow they get sanctions for this it would be so funny. Right when they start to win again...this would be perfect timing.

Winning and cheating usually go hand in hand. Not too many .500 teams that have to give players extra benefits.

That would mean they played with ineligible players so I get the VaTech win in the pickem contest, right?
