Anyone park at Lake Avenue Garage? Looks like that's were I will be parking this year. Looked and around 0.6 miles and 12 minute walk. Anyone ever tailgate on top?

That's where i'll be as well unless I decide to take Ag. Wondering if they will even let us on top? I'm thinking it is 5 stories and the pass says Levels 1-3.

Thanks for the input. They've just added C7 to my list of options. Its the lot in front of Lake Avenue Garage. I may go with that as I figure it wouldn't be as bad to get out of as a garage would be. (any experience there?) The bad thing about 11th street garage last year is it would take over an hour to get out.

C7 is not bad but prepare for prolonged exit. My recommendation is hang out somewhere, i.e. Moe's after game for a beer and then try to leave.

Oh yeah I have seen it before on top... just wondering the atmosphere and hopefully not dead up there. I am pretty sure only 3 levels. I google mapped it and think I seen it last season trying to find S37.

You was right only 1-3 of 5 levels ... had to really research it. Would have got it but what the use of parking pass if no tailgating opportunities.

I parked at Lake Ave garage for a couple years. I can not tell you what a nightmare it is to get out of there and back on to Neyland and the interstate. Finally got to where I qualified for C21 etc. I love C21. Close to stadium and an easy exit if you go out thru the Fort. They bumped me to 11th st garage this year, but I 'moved down' to keep my C21 pass.

I have come to realize that unless you leave well before the game ends or have short walk to your car and are close to the exit - it just takes a long time to get back on the road after the game.

The question to me is really around where I spend that time waiting.

AG Campus has more buses but it can be difficult to get out of - there is a method that gets you in the stream of cars faster though.

Lot 40 has limited buses and you will wait longer to get a bus - but once you get back to the lot - it is quick to get on the road.

Before I bought a pass - I would park downtown in one of the garages - which was relatively quick to get back on the road - but that climb up that hill is torture and I just can't do it anymore lol.

Last few seasons out of last 10+ seasons I have been donating to university I have bought a parking pass. Before I always parked at 500 st., market sq or civic coliseum or occasionally some where's nice to tailgate. Well worth money of parking pass when my wife and little girl goes because of shuttle but normally sell when they don't come and park at market sq or 500 state st for free.
