This year was another 'Fulmer year.' Now the reason I say that is because it was another year where Tennessee won most of their games, but no championships. This is my main gripe with Phil. His winning % is well documented. The guy wins a lot of games. But he's been the head coach at UT for 15 years now and has 2 SEC titles.
This year: 9-4. That's on par for Fulmer for the last decade. Now, if you are happy with winning a good amount of games, Fulmer is your guy. But if you want to win championships, he's not going to get very many for you. He wins just enough games to keep his job and get raises and extensions(for reasons I do no not know), but does not bring home many titles or BCS games.
