First, the link.... http://tennessean.com/sports/ut/archives/0...ent_ID=64327267. Now, let me say that I admire the UT program from a purely football standpoint. Sound, fundamental, safe, and good hustle. As a Bama fan I certainly know about the bad side that we have had.

What is causing all of these arrests of UT players? I don't mean this post to be finger-pointing at all. But I do wonder why so many players have had run-in with the law. Is it because of a lack of discretion while recruiting? or is it lack of team discipline? or is the influence in Knoxville just dragging otherwise good players into social demise?

McDaniel hit this guy bc he said something "inappropriate" to him. My roommate was there and said it was a bunch of trash talk that turned into a fight.

If I had as much time as some bammers, I'd make a nice lengthy list of other teams in the SEC and the mishaps with their players. And if the other universities didn't sweep it all under the rug, I know that the other school's lists would be quite a bit longer than Tennessee's. However, I like to focus my time on other things.

:bad: :finger: :machinegun: bammers will never give up there quest to trash UT. if you asked a bammer you would think the whole UT team has been to jail and there players are perfect.

What I really wonder about is Bama fans' preoccupation with UT and its players. I have never once gone digging to find any dirt (or non-dirt for that matter) on Bama players as I personally couldn't care any less about anything Bama-related. What I DO enjoy doing, however, is surfing the net looking for info about MY team that might be interesting enough to share on the VOL message board with other VOL fans. It just seems to me GoTide, that YOUR team oughtta be the object of your fascination and not the Vols. If you are trying in a not-so-subtle way to point out our imperfections, then I suggest you just move on to a Bama board. Somebody on there will REALLY care.
