Recommend u hit the mute button and listen to Bob

I tried that yesterday, but when streamed the feed was too far behind the TV.

This was too bad, too. Unlike many, I like Bob. He isn't John Ward, but I don't think he is bad.

Especially when he is announcing a win like yesterday :p

CBS is allowed to show 1 team 5 times in a year, but no more than that, so I'd suspect on Monday it'll be announced that we Vols/Aggies is on CBS, and if we beat Georgia, on the Monday after that Tennessee/Bama will be announced as being on CBS.

Every other game on the schedule will end up being SECN or ESPN.

I disagree. We're most likely going to be the November 19th CBS game but more due to lack of options.

The only games available to CBS that week are:

Missouri vs (ranked) UT
(ranked) Ole Miss vs Vanderbilt
(ranked) Arkansas vs Mississippi State

That's it. Generally - when given a week of limited options and without a matchup of two ranked teams - CBS has shown more a tendency to go with either the SEC team with largest brand/fanbase/viewer base or highest ranked team (if one's in the top 5).

Though a reason we might not be selected would be a general past hesitancy/avoidance CBS has shown towards airing Missouri as an opponent in SEC Game of the Weeks, manly based in how poor the ratings were for the 3 games in which they were featured in their first conference year; they've generally tried to stay away from featuring them after that (most noticeably, outside of the obligated SEC championship game in 2013, the 3 ranked vs ranked matchups involving Missouri vs ranked UGA/UF/USCe/Ole Miss/A&M were even passed over for other games, one such being "unranked UGA vs Vanderbilt").

I tried that but there is a delay from TV several seconds so sound doesn't match picture. Only the 3:30 crew gets on my nerves enough to mute - I don't have a problem with noon or evening play by play.

Still, the 3:30 time slot is great for me. Noon too early and 7:30 is too long to wait.

Simple fix: go to Athens and watch it live.

I almost expect us and A&M to be the late game on ESPN. I expect CBS for Bama

It seems likely they'd break it up rather than show the same team 4 weeks in a row.

UT-A&M is also the weekend of Alabma/Arkansas and UF-LSU, the latter of which (if both are ranked) has generally been a game garnering CBS pretty high TV ratings, such that they've pretty much made it a staple of their yearly broadcast schedule (the only exception being last year, when Alabama played A&M that same week, but after the 2012 Alabama-A&M game garnered the highest-ever TV ratings for a CBS SEC football game - by a sizable margin - it's made sense that the network has repeatedly gone back to the well on that one).

But we're most likely the CBS game for the UT-Missouri game, unless Ole Miss somehow is leading the SEC West and a top 10-top 5 team (which would be tough as a 2-loss team).
