Annual thread regarding best and cheapest streaming options for NCAA (and possibly NFL)

Gives me an opportunity to say I hate xfinity but seems I’m stuck with them . They give very little for what I pay imo. I do have smart tv but it just seems anything I want extra it’s shears kept from me and I need to pay extra for it I’m just fine with it. Unfortunately. That doesn’t mean I’ll always stick with them but loyalty means nothing in tv world.

I’m getting Xfinity internet installed this week at our cabin in Townsend as it’s the only option available that I’ve found. Hopefully it will work as advertised.

Lol......sad, but true. Although im stuck with Jags, Bucs, and Dolphins here. Don't care for any. Im diehard college but will watch Titans for a lazy sunday afternoon. But I always liked Oilers/Titans dating back to the Warren Moon days. Then came the 90s with Air McNair. But I agree, I wouldnt pay more than what I did just to watch them go 4-5 wins this year

I hear you there. The conversations I have with titans fans are laughable going from calling me a traitor for not leaving my Colts and joining titans even though I have been a Colt fan since 7th grade. Some also criticize me for using our last SB pic at times because it is “too old to count”. Isn’t that funny? There are some good ones here but the majority make me laugh cause they seem to not watch other NFL teams just titans. I am sorry though you’re stuck with Jags, they’re much worse than titans and their fans are really out there. Go Big Orange .

I personally do not need a service that provides any other channels than what is needed for NCAA football/basketball and NFL. I don't watch regular TV, I do watch streamed shows (Silo, Reacher, Serverance, Landman, etc...). I run my own NAS (ZimaOS) and media server (Jellyfin) and I download all necessary shows vis Bittorrent. I run my own VPN (on AWS) so I don't get a DCMA notice from my ISP.

In this same vein, I'm a new subscriber to Sirius sattellite radio. Any suggestions for channels to listed to Vol Network and Vol Sports Talk?
