Good to know that it will be announced before game time. Any mention of what time it will be announced?

Here's an idea, Phil: take a look at the film from the UCLA, UAB, UF, and Auburn games.

That should help you make up your mind.

go vls.

To think that one week's practice film would overrule all the garbage we've seen so far is just an indication that it'll take a monumental effort for him to go with Stephens to start. That Fulmer guy can say the stupidest things. :realmad:

He'll probably take a tub of popcorn in the film room and watch Iron Man or something. Sometimes I wonder about his film review.

From what I heard from a semi-reliable source Crompton will start, and Stevens will play very early on. That may change, but it was the plan as late as yesterday.

This is what I have been predicting all week. Fulmer had this plan all along. He is just buying more time hoping his boy will get better. He needs to give it up already! He must think we are all idiots. If he thinks we believe he has to let them practice this week and then watch film to decide if Stephens should start over Crompton after seeing all the horrific film of Crompton the first 4 games, then has truly lost his mind. It is ridiculous.
You can not convince me, he ever had any thought of starting Stephens on Saturday. Phil and his loyalty sucks so bad. I guess he thinks UT pays him 3 mill a year to be loyal. What a joke!

That's been the plan ALL ALONG. Fulmer and staff have given us a Dog and Pony show this week.

Aside from his lack of leadership and lack of succesfullness on the field, he STILL has ankle injuries. He should NOT start.

I only pray Stephens does so well when he is in the game that they HAVE to keep playing. I hope that they don't "play call him" into bad situations though.

I have heard that Fulmer will look at game film before he decides who gets the nod on Saturday night. Well I hope he is smarter than looking at all the film, all he has to do is sit down and say ok we are 1-3 behind Crompton, and then look at Nick Stephens 35 yard strike pass against UAB!!! NO BRAINER FULMER, NO BRAINER!!!

I figured they already knew/know. The only film CPF should look at is at AU when Clawson looked like someone just kicked his dog.

I would almost be willing to bet crompton starts. Stephans would probably do better. I dont know though I somehow think it has to be more than just loyalty that crompton is playing and not stephans. A lot of people wanted crompton to play when ainge was here and look whats happened.

My money would be on Crompton to start. I don't know why Fulmer bows down to seniority but we have seen it before at a variety of postions even when the 2nd stringer is clearly playing better. So I don't know why he'd take a chance on somebody that hasn't played. Fulmer is consumed by fear. Fear leads to hate. Hate leads to the dark side. If turnovers Crompton makes, loud the boos will be.
