What they're doing is filling the void left by the collapse of FSU and Miami this year in one of the most talent rich states in the country.

By comparison, UT's effort is much more impressive... but from a practical standpoint it probably means UT and UF will be a clash of Titans between 08 and 10.

I think UT is recruiting better than Florida right now if you look where the kids are coming from. For Florida, their kids are locks mainly because they're in state. Miami and FSU are having a rough time, so all these in-state kids are just riding on down the road a little further to Gainesville.

Florida is talent rich, TN...not so much. For us to pull classes like we do, we've gotta have a lot of nationwide pull. Unfortunately, it's a harder situation...so even if we have better recruiters, the nature of the job means schools like UF are going to get more quality recruits.

Well, it is down to LSU, UT, Bama, and OU. I don't think he is really high on OU and we've cooled on him. Would you rather him go to Bama or LSU?
