D'Brickashaw Ferguson?

I know the Titans didn't put up too much of a fight against the Jets, but how much credit does one give to D'Brickashaw for protecting Pennington's blindside in his big performance?

i don't know about that...but the Texans will always be looked at like idiots for not getting reggie bush...Jerry jones, whom i dislike very much, did have a good point...he basically said that from a personnel standpoint, he didn't really need bush, but he's also a business man, and picking him would have brought a ton of attention, jersey sales etc..to his team...so he would have picked him regardless....

same rationale for picking up Owens i would imagine...at least from a business standpoint.

either way, i can't argue with the logic.

Well. Yeah.

It was less of a draft pick comment and more of a question as to how the Jets o-line is operating.

Pennington looked sharp in the highlights I saw. He made some good throws.

Pennington is a solid QB... and he was facing a sorry secondary.

Every year Pennington has been healthy, the Jets have made the playoffs. I doubt they go that far this year, but they could be better than most expect. I think they'll give the Patriots a game this weekend.
