Analysis of why Currie does not call Tee

Everyone is asking. People love him. A VFL, champion, you know his story.

Currie does not want to cave to the fans. He knows we want Tee. He is not going to hire someone we tell him to. He is too proud. He wants to hire someone that will stroke his ego and bow to his power like Butch.

But this is my personal speculation. Currie is gone soon, it is coming. That is why they didn't approve Brohm. They will force Currie to make a good hire that will make the fans happy or they will force him out, then make a good hire.
So I know it is hard to ask, but be patient. We do not need a coach today, or even this week. We need a good hire, cause I'm not going through this BS mediocre crap again. We can wait a week or even two weeks to land a good one. We don't need to be impulsive cause we are on the news and hire another 7-5 coach, cause that will last another 4-5 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are going to force him to make a “good hire” and they do that by nixing the deal with Brohm to go after Doeren!??

I like Brohm more than Doeren, but I'll pass on both. He will go after whoever he wants, not who we want. That is what I said. But as we now know, doesn't mean they will be coach. I could be wrong of course. But I hope I'm not!

But keep Campaigning for him. Start another Martin thread in a little while.

I don't think he gets fired.. He should have been fired Monday morning. It's Wednesday and he's still here. This isn't a "wait until the end of the season" situation like with Butch. They could fire him right now and make an immediate positive impact. They haven't.. and they're not going to.

Unless... Boosters force him out. That's the only way. We know Haslam isn't going to, so it will take several of them banding together to override Haslam. I'm not sure if enough of them have the balls to do it.

I'll take Tee! Have to give him a couple of years to up his game though and would need a killer staff.

This is absolutely the biggest sh!t show I have ever witnessed.For the love of god almighty,please hire Tee instead of the NC state coach.If the Haslem's and Peyton are the cause,they should be shunned like a freaking Amish.I pray,and this is not a figure of speech, that someone up there will take control and fix this embarrassment of a program. There is just no words that can describe this. Sad, just sad.

Why are fans so enamored with Tee Martin. He has been a position coach for most of his career and only became an OC this year. What makes you think he can handle the all the demands of a head coach? Talk about on the job training ... geesh !!!

I dunno man, I feel like the vast majority of us would take back Kiffin. I also think that Kiffin wouldnt cause as much uproar as Dave Doeren would.

Of course its not happening because Currie doesnt want us to win. If you think someone like Brohm can out coach Kiffin you are just flat out dumb.

He’s been an OC for two years.

same thing that fulmer eventually became head coach. why can't it happen for tee at Tennessee like it did fulmer?

Davenport may be out too. I Pray they clean house and put ole Elmer Fudd in as AD.
