Week 6 - Oct. 8 vs. Tennessee (Baton Rouge, La.)
LSU returns home to face a Tennessee team that has the potential to be even better in 2022 after going 7-6 in Josh Heupel's first season at the helm. The Volunteers return plenty of pieces of their potent offense, including quarterback Hendon Hooker. The Tigers better be at their best for this one.

I love Tennessee playing LSU between Auburn and Florida, also.

Right now, as of April 25 @ 12:18 EST, I think this game and the Florida game will tell the tale of the 2022 season. This is a monster game. We have to beat Florida and then if we go down there and win in that environment, we’re off and running with confidence skyrocketing .

LSU had their Spring "game" this past Saturday. Three Qbs still in close competition; doubt all will still be there come Sept.1st. Both OL and DB units reconstructed. OL showed some gain of cohesion; Dbs less so.

If our OL is 100% healthy we win by 20. If we are down a guy or two maybe we lose. That’s how bad I think our depth is on the OL.

Totally agree. And, unfortunately, I think we are at least a year away from beating either.

I'm trusting in Heupel, but we are thin all over, and I don't see us able to hang for a game and pull out the win against anyone but the weaklings of the SEC.

Tennessee can beat LSU, they can! Will they? I’m not sure bout our offense puts us in the game with anyone, it’s not a game we can’t win…

I think we can beat both. We SHOULD beat Florida this year, but that’s never stopped us from doing what we do against them in the past.

LSU is a huge unknown, but they always have talent. They did lose a lot at linebacker and in the secondary, which should play into our hands some.

I think we have a very good shot to win both of these games because we are bad matchups for them. I’m not sure Florida or LSU will be at their normal level with both teams having first year head coaches.

We have to get out of Pittsburgh with a W as well. I know they lost Pickett but we cannot take them lightly.
