I will say this as nicely as I can after reading one too many posts of your collective "wisdom". You people are sad representations of fans and your constant negativity without any actual information is intellectually and spiritually draining.

Look, I get it, the admin has surely screwed the pooch the last decade so it is hard to hope for better things. But things ARE different. Whatever you would say about our previous coaches/ADs, Pruitt and Fulmer are quite different from what we have had and no one can seriously say that CPF doesnt love UT or that they dont care about football. We dont know yet if Pruitt will be successful here. In his young career, he has surely been successful elsewhere. But TN has had a way of making even great coaches and all star NFL players suck while they are here. Time will bear it out, an improvement this year as more of the roster is turned over and he brings in new recruits (just remember, star gazers, that there are fewer 4* linemen). Next year the machine will begin to hum if he is the right guy.

In the meantime, why not at least let the man actually get an OC before you start bi*ching? If we dont like him, then fine, bi*ch away. Though it is hard to see who you all would be happy with. You weren't happy with Helton because he didnt have deep experience as OC. I see many complaints about the idea of someone like Sarkisian, a head coach at Washington, at USC and now an OC in the NFL for no other reason than isnt your "pick of the week". We could hire the "National Coordinator of the Year" and you had been clamoring for for weeks and then you would find innumerable ways to complain about how the admin/Pruitt/Fulmer screwed up this hire. But until that happens, perhaps just STFU and enjoy the new year. Unlike previous searches, this one has had almost no leaks, no information coming out at all. Is that better? well it does tell me that someone is more organized and is not a Benny Hill show running around. So lets at least wait and see before you start spewing negative bile over the pristine new year.

To you Battered Vols who are not naturally NegaVols but have been corrupted, twisted into such by the utter incompetence of Administrations past, take hope. While no one can promise an NC or even an SEC Championship while Bama is in full form, I can say that I believe the coaching management we have now will get us at least to being respectable again. By the end of year 2020, I would wager almost everything that I have that you will all feel very differently about our team. Pruitt is not a flashy person but his past demonstrates he understands how to build foundations and teach core skills. I dont know if we will ever be in contention for an NC under Pruitt but I sense that he will build a program that you will no longer have to be ashamed of and you will look forward to Saturdays in the fall again.

Be Happy, its a New Year!

You know I tend to agree with you. However sometimes buried in the doom and gloom there a gems of wisdom, just as there are some buried in the blind "field of dreams" posts made by the "other side".
On occasion, I post like the wind "coming from any direction" as do many of us "blind faith" fans. But we are still lifelong fans.
What you might do is what I try to do, "wade" through both sides of the spectrum and find the "gems". Many times a post can read both ways (nearly in the same sentence) and neither has anything to say. Just move on. The next post could be a total gem!!!

I think everyone is settling in for a long slog of incremental gains and occasional backsliding at this point. Excuuuuuuuuuuuuse us if we can't get euphoric about these unappetizing prospects. Watching every other SEC team compete in bowl games doesn't really boost fanbase morale this time of year either.

I like how guys like him always say people are being negative just to be negative without any facts to support being negative. No facts huh? I’ll give you just 1.... this has statistically the worst decade in the history of Tennessee football... where are all your facts suggesting we shouldn’t be pissed off about this debacle of a program? Please give me some facts.

Sheesh people it's an opinion forum. Just agree or disagree. It ain't that hard. I'm blessed my generation didn't have PC, safe places or snow flakes. SMDH.
Yet you make this post. You’re no different, neither was your generation (of which I don’t even know you belong), you just didn’t have these outlets.
