With Pruitt we're definitely going to be able to recruit big time players. He's a stud on the recruiting trail. So was Butch. But I do think Pruitt has a proven track record of developing those 4 and 5 star recruits into star college football players, which as we all know was Butch's largest failure.

I'm excited about the hire and feel good about the future of UT football.

UT has everything Bama and FSU has but the wins. Players know they can come here and win under the right coach.

TENNESSEE is not a dumpster fire.... the COACH SEARCH was. Apparently that’s done now. We as a society are very forgetful. I think by next football season these last few weeks will be much less painful. And these recruits will be much more interested in our new coaches, outstanding facilities, etc., than anything that happened during what to us has been a painful period of time.
