that game was a win/win and a lose/lose at the same time. i just kept thinking the whole time which team do i hate more. i do like that once again vandy got shafted by the refs, but it sucks that usc continues to win every single close game they play in. they are not very good. that top 10 randing is laughable

I don't care what anyone says, if Dooley's doesn't work out, Tennessee Athletics would be stupid not to go after James Franklin. The guys out recruiting SEC schools that have better facilities, more money, and more success. And he's keep his team competitive.

I still hope Dooley works out and ends up bringing championships to Tennessee though. GBO

Your opinion............let me say..........SUCKS

How? I don't get some vols fans. Just because someone has a different opinion than yours doesn't mean it sucks. We all want the same thing and that's the success of Tennessee sports. It doesn't make sense to me to bash a fellow fan just because I have a different opinion. I had to go through the same crap the last 4 years as everyone of you.

Just an opinion. I'd like to see someone make an argument against mine.

He's a douche. We've already had our Lane Kiffin. And how about we see if he actually wins before we start lusting after him. He won 6 games and lost a bowl game with a senior-laden team that someone else built/recruited.

I love how people are ready to schlob all over him.

He did better than we did with less. Could've possibly beaten a top ten team if it had not been for a bad call. Actually coached pretty well against a good offense. On top of that he's recruiting well to Vanderbilt of all places. You tell me how that's not the mark of a good coach?

And I'm sorry, calling someone a "douche" isn't a good argument for not hiring him.

I'm in Astons corner a lil bit here... There's more threads made about Vandy on this forum, moreso than any of our other SEC foes...We talk about them a lot.. And there's a reason for that.

Franklin is doing more with less, and you would be an idiot not to think he could do somethig big at a powerhouse program like UT.

If you weren't talking about a whiny Vandy coach, then more would probably agree.

So they won one more game than our current coach, and aren't sucking as much in recruiting...

This is enough for you to want to hand over the keys to the UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE football program?

Whether or not Dooley works out, I'm pretty sure Hart will be looking for someone with a marginally better resume. Franklin may get there, but come on...

Let him be whiny. At least when he's whining it's because he's defending his team. Not saying that I agree with his handling the media the way he does but I get his intentions.

He hasn't accomplished anything yet. Had a great chance to have a game given to him tonight as USCe played horribly and clearly wasn't up for the game, but the offense stuttered. A couple of the pass completions could just as easily have been picks.

If this would have been TN vs USCe, fans would be screaming about how Dooley didn't have the team ready, and couldn't make adjustments at half time.
