New AP poll is out. Florida is 11th, Oklahoma is 10th, and Texas A&M is 9th.

So we lost by a point to the #11 team, took the #10 team into overtime, and lost by four points to Arkansas, that took the #9 team into overtime.

We should be 5-0, but as bad as we're playing (and coaching), can we really say we are a bad team?

Your thoughts?

We are a bad team because of coaching. We have the talent to hang with every one of those teams, I don't think that's questionable.

Listen. If we would've gone out and solidly beaten that bad Arkansas team I'd say you're spot on. But there is something very wrong with this team.

I don't think it matters what these teams do after we play them. We had both on the ropes and just completely lost the games. Both had low single digit win probabilities very late in the game. It had nothing to do with their skill level. It had everything to do with our performance. It was not a testament to OU or UF that they could put 9 in the box and stop 3 vanilla rushing plays at the end of the game.

That #11 FL team is playing with a RS FS QB, and at least 2 FS on the oline with a 1st year coach with coffee stained teeth and uncle Rico's hair. We're in year 3 and falling apart. But it's all ok because we lose to teams closer than we used to!

Don't forget the team we blew out in the Gator Bowl is 5-0.


Yes, if you've watched the games you can say with 100% certainty that we are a very bad team.

How does opponents ranking determine coaching, tackling and play calling. We gave those games away.

Arkansas lost to Toledo and Texas Tech. And we aren't ****ing Vandy. Some of our fans are pitiful accepting this crap and looking for "positives" NEWS FLASH....reality is calling. There are no positives right now. Deal with it. Put on your big boy pants. Quit trying to fool yourself.

Remember how great all the close loses to highly ranked teams worked out for Dooley in his third year? :crazy:
And that team was at least more fun to watch with Bray airing it out and CP posting some crazy highlights.

No we really aren't. Just need support and realism. But it ain't gonna happen. I am beginning to believe we will never be good again because of the damn fanbase! If they get half a chance they turn into full force haters! It's a damn game. We've been pretty darn close. But now I am ashamed of mindless fanbase feeding attention seeking media who earn money by creating controversy! Just damn ashamed! Who the hell do you think Tennessee is? We haven't won crap in a decade. We are pretty close to winning some good games and everyone acts like we're the Worst team in foorball! Your nevativity is influencing in a bad way any chance for a third good recruiting year and for true sophomores and juniors to finally get over hump next year!
A lot of other programs redshirt freshmen! In 5th year they can kick a 5* true freshmans butt. But your ready to fire the guy bringing in sone talent. Just crazy man!

I don't think either team will stay that high. Even so, this would indicate we had the horses to beat both those teams and just lost at home to an Arky team that lost to Toledo and was murdered by Texas Tech.

We're getting a lot better and may even win some with better coaching. We have the talent. CBJ has got to figure this out or someone else will be coahing his team in a couple of years.
