That's the kind of soundbite you hear from a coach who is cluelss as to what the problem is and how to fix it.

It actually sound like something Steve Spurrier would say.

I liked what Steve Spurrier said after the Vandy debacle.....When asked whats his plans now that they lost to vandy he said: Well I dont know, we still have the players cant do nothing with them..I cant trade em or anything so I guess i'm stuck with em...

Eh, I guess he is trying to have a sense of humor about it.

It's obviously a sarcastic remark. It's bad enough that he looks inept right now . . . Stop trying to make the man look flat out stupid on top of that.

Have you ever heard Fulmer say that his team had a bad practice?....No, they ALWAYS practice well in Phil's world....That is just a way of shifting blame around.

the best part of that interview was him taking shots at tOSU's schedule and record. They only played it the first time out of all the times they showed it that I saw.

I don't think Fulmer knows what the problem is and how to fix it. Three embaressing games, three "films to study."

Did he lose the film to the Florida and Cal game this year? He's been coaching for 30+ years act like you know what the problems are and how to fix them.

Phil would be better served by going into hiding. Right now he cant do anything right.

Your absolutely right.....and thats a shame to, I mean that guy loves this university as much if not more than anybody but his stubbordness is turning him into a "hated son"

I will never view CPF as a hated son and those that do (IMO) need to get their priorities straightened out. It may be time for him to go or even past time, but the man brought my beloved alma mater an undefeated NC season. For that and the many other things he has done for UT, I will always have nothing but respect for the man. I may get pissed and say things I shouldn't in the heat of the moment, but hate CPF? Not me.

I don't hate the man. He just needs to step outside of himself, see what is happening to this program, and for the love of the University, step down. He does that, he has regained the admiration of a lot of UT fans.

I think Bear Bryant had it right, you give the players credit when the team wins, and the coaches take the blame when the team loses. He said that's how you get players to give 100%.

That quote from Spurrier, yeah it's funny, but that's not going to inspire your players to play harder.
