Howell was clearly awful..i mean 2 3's didnt even draw rim
but ramar missed atleast 6 LAYUPS.

and had some HORRIBLE turnovers again.

Neither is a true point guard..That will come back to bite us in the tourney imo.

I second what tvolsfan said.

Ramar did miss quite a few layups, however, no Memphis player was able to keep him from driving right to the basket when he wanted to. He just had a night where his touch was off.

Great defense can make a player look bad. And there was plenty of great defense last night.

Ramar can drive the lane. In that alone makes him really valuable. Him scoring points are a bonus.
Jordan howell however is becoming more of a liability. If he can't make those three's. He's definitely not making a living driving the lane.

Forget the fact that he was guarded by and had to guard the most talented player on the floor.

Let another "UT Player X Sucks" thread spring to life the next time someone doesn't go 11-12 with 14 boards and 17 assists.

Would you ppl please just stop with the calling out certain players by name? I mean come it is a team sport and they win or lose as a friggin team, just cause one guy or the other has an off night some of you ppl act like its the end of the freakin world!

look i love the vols..i love CBP and i love Ramar as all the guys.
i have coached for 16 years and I don't think he played well at all.
now Jordan looked like deer in headlights every second on the court.
Tyler played great, JP played quite well....IN SPURTS...
Chism played like he generally does and jujuan was great when in and not limping..lofton hustled but took some horrible shots and BDUB i thought played as well as he could. Crews played well at times.

BOTTOM LINE..PEARL HAD THEM READY TO DO WHAT THEY HAD TO DO.
ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE OF COACHING.

Eh, I guess ya can call out whatever you want! My point is that each and every game somebody has an off night. As long as some of the others step up and they win, I dont understand why some ppl have to jump all over the one that had an off night. I know for a fact that some of the others (no names mentioned) didnt put up their usual numbers either! So Im really surprised that they werent called out too. Sure Ramar didnt play all that well in that one game, but he just might be the one to step up and be the difference in the next game! Like I said before it is a TEAM sport.

Being here for 3 years as you have, you should realize that people will complain about something, even if the team wins. :hi:
