Wearing a different Vol Shirt everyday to work. Finally for the first time in 15 years believe if we play our best game …(Without the Weds Game-Week optimism ninja if we get 6 turnovers crap) believe could compete with anyone on schedule. Not win mind you but in it and having fun again.

We can compete with everyone. Our offense is hard to prepare for, and for the first time in a long time we have an excellent returning QB. If the defense can improve only a little....

My expectations aren't as high as they were in 2016, but my confidence that we will meet expectations is higher. I think there is a pretty solid chance we go 8-4. 9-3 isn't out of the question and 10-2 isn't 100% unrealistic, imo.

Exactly, I'm no longer worried about us getting out coached. There are a few teams that can still out talent us but ain't no shame losing to to the UGA and Bamas of the world. The best part is we may actually start beating teams we not supposed to. Hell I know I must really love Heup because I actually have confidence about the Florida game. It's been 20 years since I last felt this way.

exactly...we all want those SEC championships, but we've been too far removed from the general conversation for too long...when only 9 wins was a disappointment.
