Which one is underappreciated? Fulmer has a street named after him and makes an obscene amount of money. Summit has the court at TBA named after her and makes an obscene amount of money. :unsure:

Phil is appreciated. He still has a job doesn't he. There isn't a better way to show your appreciation, than to overpay and let a average coach just stick around until he sees fit to leave.

I was referring to this website. He is not appreciated at all by 98% of the posters here. That is why I believe I am one of the last "Fulmerites". And proud of it. He is not an average coach, he is a great coach. A future Hall Of Famer.

He is what he is. A washed up coach that has had trouble this decade winning games against the LSU's/Auburn's/Florida's/Georgia's/bowl games this decade.

Hi BPV. I enjoy your posts. Now to your question. I just do not see how we can call Coach Fulmer washed up. Last season was not a bad season considering the conference we play in. And by the way BPV, you rule!!!!!! And that is coming from an old person who never uses the word "rule".

bottom line is, we didn't control our own destiny. i'm glad we wound up in atlanta, but we were there purely because florida failed to take care of business.

Spin it how you want, buddy, but the truth is that the 2007 team was no better than the 2005 team--in 2005 we were on the losing side of most of the breaks, in 2007 we happened to be on the fortunate side of them. Our success last year was not due to the quality of our team but instead it was other teams' choke jobs that allowed us to get to Atlanta (where we lost, if I'm not mistaken).

This is not spin, we did beat GA and we took the EAST. If Coach Fulmer was not there, I wonder if everyone would be calling last year luck. Like I said, if he wins it's "luck" if he loses, he is washed up. The man can not win. I say he will lead us to victory over FL and it won't be "luck".

Fulmer will do every thing in his power to lose the game on saturday.
