My wife is pregnant and we were at the doctors, I refused to let an intern come in the ultrasound cause she went to florida and had a gator stethoscope . Am I crazy??has anyone else done anything like this?

....perfectly within your rights. Nuff said. You can even forbid here from any aspect of the birth. Hell, the icing on the cake is you can even tell her why.

Putting your childs life in danger because of a logo is not crazy - it is retarded. I bleed orange but my kids are ranked way above my favorite FB team. Man if I were you wife, I would divorce you before you abused the kids.JMHO

I've written off places like Boston and L.A. based on their franchises and fans.

With that being said... I would be okay with a doctor from there. We're talking about someone who went to school for a minimum of 7 years and this is a career that affects both them and you. You have every right to pick another doctor but I wouldn't do it based on their affiliation. Turning a doctor way based on school/sports affiliation is no better than turning someone away based on race. You're judging them on one thing and it has nothing to do with being a doctor.

Congrats on your kid though. :)

Really. An intern (first year out of med school) who likely knows less than the tech and was there for educational reasons at best is putting his babies life in danger when the attending is sure to come behind. Yeah, she should definitely divorse him over that. Sheesh

Regardless, I bet they know how to spell divorce.

Didn't knock anyone for being undereducated. Technically, residency starts second year. Way to go overboard on someone, though. (Note the proper use of a comma before though)
