Leach wouldn't have been my first second or third choice but, given the disaster this search had become, he would have been a great hire under the circumstances.

Could have lit a fire under this program and fan base for sure and Currie would have been vindicated.

I just don't see how lobbing a grenade at that deal by getting Currie fired is doing anything good for this program.

There is zero doubt in my mind Fulmer held a grudge against Currie. First for pushing to get him fired then doubled it up when he beat him out for AD.

Think that mattered more to ol Phil than getting a good coach in here. Especially with the stories popping up that he was sabotaging Currie.

James Franklin, Petersen, Shaw, Frost, Brohm - any of these would be great. The first 3 proven winners. GBO Miles' age hurts him imo.

yea I teared up to..........because hiring pitiful assistant coaches is what got him fired. He did not have a good record of hiring Coaches..... Sorry.
