Other than as a marketing ploy, what is really the accomplishment of making a F4? It's not a championship of anything.And you probably dont know both have Final 4s at their respective schools.

I remember seeing a Neyland Stadium cake tin a long time ago with some UT football data printed on the sides. It said "finished 2nd in the nation four times". That sounds like "haven't won a natty but made the F4".

Yes, it matters. As I've often stated, the tournament should be best 2 of 3 from the Sweet 16 through the final 2
