I finally bit the bullet and bought a 360 for Halo 3... and I am glad I did.

Explain to me again what killer app there is on the PS3 that I need to go out and buy one?

Well that's cool... Halo 3 is cool and all. I got too burnt out on Halo 2 to enjoy 3 that much, but it's still decent online from time to time.

Personally, I can be just as sure about anything as that MGS4, FFXIII/XIV and GT5 will be worth buying a system. And since I will soon be in the market for a 1080p, the Blu-Ray is nice. But that's me.

PS3 will be $400 soon, just stating the facts. :hi:

Seriously though. I played the MGS that was on the xbox (Sons of Liberty) and it was ok... Never liked FF, and Gran Tourismo just isn't something that is going to cause me to go out and buy even a $400 system.

Sons Of Liberty was also like a 2 year-old port.

For me, though... GT with a nice Logitech wheel is as good as video games get.

I turned my PS3 on a few times this year. I hope it increases next year. Not sure what games I'm waiting on, though. One thing I like about the PS3, just about all the good games are single player titles which makes them great rentals and saves me money. Metal Gear, Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly Sword, etc.

How is MotorStorm? That's the only game that is sparking my interest.

I'm still waiting for another 4x4 Evolution game.

I was pretty bored with MotorStorm after a couple hours. Limited number of tracks that are all fairly similar and it just got old to me.

it's nothing to write home about. i was bored within 30 minutes of starting it up. definitely one of the more overrated games IMO. i still say resistance is the way to go at the moment

Killzone 2 for PS3 looks sweet as well. Despite the quirks of the first one for the PS2, I still played through the campaign several times.

Somebodys buying this stuff cause Micosoft reported earnings for the last Q. today and WOW! $4.29 billion in 3 months. :crazy::crazy::crazy: and thats net profit!! Good job Mr. Gates. :thumbsup:

The thing is about microsoft is that they are about to take a huge hit. They finally gave up the antitrust lawsuit with the EU and are about to pay mega bucks in settlements to this and other similar suits.
