Alright If The BCS Is Gonna Stay Around, Then They Need To Step It Up This Year!!!!!!

I am of course talking about the schedules of top ranked teams going into 2009 and their non conference cup cake ass teams they will play.

Starting with our nemesis The Florida Gators who play:
Charleston Southern
Troy
Florida International
If any of those teams score more then 10 points on the Gators, they need to be dropped two spots for every 10 points scored on them.

Then ya got USC:

well they play san jose st. and then the whimpy ass pac 10 which might as well count as cupcakes

Ya know what though, I am not even going to waste my time typing out the rest of these schools as the BCS needs to stop playing favorites and start looking at the real competition, if Florida and USC for my prime examples are so damn good, then why don't they play a prime Division 1 school in their season opener just to prove that they are not hogwash. Now I know you are all gonna rip me by saying Tennessee opens up against Western Kentucky but it's about damn time, at least we play legitimate non-conference teams, a hell of a lot more legitimate teams than any of our SEC foes play.

yeah they do go on the road to play Ohio State this year, but Ohio State really hasen't been anything since their trip to the National Title game in which they got their ass whipped, yeah by the dumb ass Gators, but Ohio State, i mean face it, last year they almost got beat by a cupcake team at the beginning of the season, Northwestern gave em a run for their money, they are not gonna be what they used to be and it's about time Jim Tressel gives it up.

Yes, because our schedule reeks of good OOC opponents. A mediocre UCLA team is the best freaking team on the schedule.

I wanna see Utah and Boise St. play 3 top 25 teams this year.

I wanna see ND join the Big10

I won't see either.

Wow. Can't believe you said that. Tressel is one of the best coaches out there and OSU continues to recruit at a very high level. They aren't going anywhere. They will challenge USC this year. They're one season removed from a title game appearance and made one the year before as well.

How would UCLA compare to Florida State then, who UF plays every stinkin year?

Seems like FSU is on most if not all preseason top 25 schedules. Not to mention UF has played Miami twice in recent years. When was the last time UT played two high profile BCS teams OOC in the same season (not counting bowl games)

When is the last time Michigan beat Ohio State?
When was the last BCS Bowl they went to?
When was their last Big 10 championship?
Who annually recruits top 10 classes?

Ridiculous post huh? I guarantee Ohio State is not national title material this year, they will not challenge USC, USC will crush them and the other post above about Georgia's 09 schedule, yeah they have one tough team Oklahoma State, OK state will beat them but don't even bring Arizona State up because Arizona state sucks

I do think he is going overboard, I have to say that IMO Ohio St has been hyped and have benefited greatly from the conference being down. It was evident to everyone watching the past couple of times they competed for a national championship they were outclassed and did not belong there.

but they were the only team that made it there to play florida.

ASU is better than every OOC game UT has this year (and probably would have beaten UT last year)
