To compete with Georgia, we are going to need to get consistent pressure on the qb. Make him uncomfortable, hit him, get him rolling out. We have some natural edge pressure, but this dude knows how to work the pocket and stay clean.

Like Pruitt said, we have to cover better to give our guys time to get to the qb. Our secondary has been Very suspect so far against two very average teams. They aren’t going to suddenly make a huge leap this early, so the need for pressure becomes even more vital. I’d expect to see some exotic blitz packages against Georgia like we did early in Pruitt’s tenure. Bring the corners, bring the safeties, but you better get to him bc that will leave our coverage in a press man situation on an island.

Speaking of man defense, I’d expect to see a good bit of zone as well. I’ve always found that dropping a DE in coverage often confuses opposing qbs and can take away those quick slants. This can also lead to some tipped balls/interception which will be a key to the game.

I think our offense will move the ball and score some points, the question is can our defense create consistent pressure and turnovers? If so, I think we pull the upset.

They also had 5 yards a carry from a variety if runners (minus the sack). Bennett is still inexperienced, so if they can do a better job of stopping the run than Aub I think Pruitt can be creative enough to force bad throws or a key pick like yesterday.
If Tenn struggles to get a ground game going against a great Georgia defense, nothing else will matter. Even if JG plays more like yesterday than last week, it's not going to end well putting the game into his hands to go out and win it.
Then you got Cmag off to a bad start. We can assume Georgia is going to score. Points will be so very precious.
