Not trying to be negative, however am I missing where it has been confirmed that Shannon has been offered and accepted the job at UT? I keep seeing all these posts about what a great hire this is and that Dooley is the one that hired him. I also see where players are welcoming him to UT. Can someone please provide a link to where this is all fact. With all the heartache that we Vol fans have experienced the past couple years, I think we all just hold on until it is 100% confirmed.

If I've seen it all, the hire has been confirmed by Jayson Swain, Michael Palardy, and Zasnow. Not exactly any official sources in there (not knocking any of them, just saying). So yes, it's all speculation and rumor. There is nothing that could happen tomorrow at the press conference that would shock me at this point. CDD could wet himself, go on a Jim Mora style rant, or hire the best DC in existence and I wouldn't be surprised.

If I am Randy Shannon I feel Arkanasas is more stable and gets a offense that gives you some wiggle room to mask some defensive flaws. If he signs with UT he could be out of a job next season.
