All the Gruden rumors

I know a lot of radio and so called journalist have tried to shoot down the Gruden rumors the last couple weeks. The question I have is why hasn't Gruden or anyone associated with him laid such rumors to rest?

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Gruden hasn't responded to any of this because he is a respectful class act. Out of professional courtesy to Derek Dooley, he wont speak about the TN job. As of right now, there is no coaching vacancy. Further, no one in the media has asked him about it, and you can bet Mike Tirico wont on MNF.

Gruden was very quick to shoot down Notre Dame rumors when asked about them a handful of years ago. That fact gives me a glimmer of hope that he'll be in Knoxville.
