All that fuss over this?
I heard that Tony Kornheiser got in trouble for complaining about Hannah Storm's outfit...

When I heard "go go boots and school girl skirt" I envisioned something much worse than this.

I think it is cute outfit, not naughty at all!!

what do you guys think?

Don't think she is attractive in the least bit. So maybe Tony was saying, "Gross. Someone else needs to wear that, not you."

TK wasn't suspended two weeks for demeaning a female. He has said much worse on PTI with no reaction from ESPN. The network has a company policy against trashing fellow employees and he was making fun of her taste in clothes, her age, and maybe even her weight (the sausage casing remarks).

If he had been talking about someone else it would have been a non-issue.

What I find hilarious is that Kornheiser's radio show isn't that widely syndicated. Now that they have suspended him, the clip has been repeatedly replayed nationally. ESPN ended up creating far more potential embarassment for Hannah Storm by their actions than if they had simply slapped TK on the wrist and told him to avoid that in the future.

By the way, Lindsey...thanks a lot for posting the pic and ruining my mental image! I hadn't seen the outfit and had envisioned a far more provacative outfit.

He also said that an ESPN anchor who is a NutriSystem spokesperson had lost weight and then gained it all back, back, back, back, back. Rumor is he got in trouble more for that comment than the Hannah Storm thing.

I heard on a news show that wardrobe picked the outfit. The news lady said she was made to wear far worse by employers. Anyway I think she looks good.

From Wikipedia, for what that's worth...

Storm was born in Oak Park, Illinois, and is the daughter of sports executive Mike Storen, who was a commissioner of the American Basketball Association and the president of the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA. Her mother, Hannah G. Storen, is a successful real estate agent in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Westminster Schools of Atlanta in 1979 and the University of Notre Dame in 1983, with degrees in political science and communications. She is married to sportscaster Dan Hicks. She still holds the distinction of being the first and only female to start at Linebacker for The Westminster Schools Fightin' Frigos from 1976-1979. During that time she recorded 56 solo tackles (including 8 for loss) and 4 QB sacks.
