The Culinary Arts Thread

I got sick of TV and TV shows, but movies in general don't keep my attention lately. I've heard so much about Yellowstone. I like westerns and being a Kevin Costner fan I decided to give it a shot.

I like it and I'm gonna watch 1883 next. Huff said Deadwood was good so I'm gonna try it after 1883.

Life changes from back in November forced me to put off skew til June, so I'm watching some stuff.

Try Ozark on Netflix.

I tried it and quit watching
Other than sports, I do not watch hardly any TV. I never watched the Sopranos, Game of Thrones, etc.
I’ll have some syndicated shows on in the background sometimes or those dumb car restoration shows. I know the timelines and drama are all fake on those car restoration show so I don’t pay much attention, but I do like to see the finished products. There’s a few shows on streaming services I watch (Stranger Things, Cobra Kai, Letterkenny), but there’s no real must see tv for me.

I took a lot of film classes in undergrad (almost double majored in broadcast journalism and film) and became such a horrific movie snob that I all but quit watching movies. I finally watched the Marvel stuff the beginning of COVID, but I probably haven’t seen any other new movie since like 2015 or 16

Reeses potato chip candy bar is a no. If not for the hard stale pieces of chips, you wouldn't know they were there.

Look what a friend just dropped by....

I saw these in the store the other day and had no desire to try them. I don’t always agree with on food (chili, mac n cheese, apparently potato chips), but you are spot on with bbq sketti. I’ll assume you’re spot on with this assessment as well. Still on the lookout for the marshmallow one squarely posted the other day though

That's what started the conversation about the chip one. I told him about the marshmallow one and wanted to try it but hadn't found it yet. Then he told me he saw the chip one and I said I'd like to try one of those.

Have you tried the pretzels version? I think I would be willing to try it. But potato chips just seemed weird

Download of Ozark complete. I'll be able to give my reviews and explain everything to souce that didn't understand.

Can't believe he's waited this long to get me to do this for him.

I'm a big Western fan so I'm currently watching 1883 and I like it so far. I haven't watched Deadwood but my wife and I both watched the entire Hell On Wheels series that was on AMC. I would suggest checking it out as well.
