today was "share your favorite Thanksgiving dish" day (the teacher writes what the kids say)
clearly he has heard some kitchen terminology around here

I would post a picture of our current 37 with forecast overnight low of 24, but Weather Channel is now demanding that I turn off my ad blocker or pay for premium, so no.

It will be interesting to see how obnoxious the cat will have to get for one of us to get up during the night to open the door to let her out. At which point she will feel the temp with her nose and refuse to go out, returning to bed, and then trying again 10 minutes later. She may wind up in the basement.

I hate the cold and having to get up from my layers several times of night to test it. Basement would be a no brainer for me.
