So, even though swai is of the order, catfish, our FDA says no to labeling it as such when offered as foodstuffs.

Like tilapia, swai is farm raised - huge industry by gross tonnage of output. Also like tilapia, it's comparatively lacking in the omega-3s which induce recommendations of substituting fish protein into one's diet.
