I like the Hamilton Beach. I had already googled it on the advice of @Vol524 .

Oh I'm not trying to talk you into it. I just suggested looking at some of the other "commercial" types. I saw several electric ones that looked good. I've heard those Kitchen Mama hand held battery operated were awesome, but get dull pretty fast.

All my electric can openers have the arm with the cutting blade removable.

Let me try again.

On an electric can opener, certain pieces have to be removed to be cleaned. Then after cleaning they have to be installed back.onto the machine, which sometimes may be more difficult on certain brands than some people want to deal with. Not everyone feels this way, but some do.

I like it because it removes the lid instead of cutting down into the can. Much cleaner. JMHO
