Googled it. That's a can opening beast, however, it's a space sucker and space is at a premium in my kitchen. Do you have one at home?

I'm gonna have to go with an electric. HBPW just has to choose between corded or battery operated.

Yes, and that arm just slides right up out of the sleeve and fits in my drawer if its in the way, but it never is. Yea, its overkill but, well I couldn't imagine life without it.

Google commercial can openers and see what you find. The biggest issue I would have with an opener is the blade getting dull. Next thing is how easy it is to clean. Commercial types may be a little more expensive, but IMO 10-15 more dollars for something like that is worth it.

My dad used to say "when it comes to hunting.... guns, scopes, ammunition, knives, boots, gloves....etc, money doesn't matter. Get what you want and always the best". I'm the same way about kitchen stuff.

I agree with your dad 100%! Price doesn't matter in this case. I want quality and user friendly (and a free poundagold:D).

I do like all the replaceable parts and the fact it can be disassembled for thorough cleaning.

Oh I'm not trying to talk you into it. I just suggested looking at some of the other "commercial" types. I saw several electric ones that looked good. I've heard those Kitchen Mama hand held battery operated were awesome, but get dull pretty fast.

I'll google commercial electric this time and see what I get. Brb

I like number 3, Black and Decker... Lulz.

Pros
