Going to Marco tomorrow, Behr! What’s the kelp situation on the beach?
I haven't heard anything so I assume nothing out of the normal. They had a waterspout hit the other day, I saw some pictures but didn't read anything about it. I like Marco, it's a nice little drinking town with a fishing problem, but I don't go down there often.

I didn't think that you had paid any attention to the news story.
Doesn't matter what you thought. I didn't remember anything about all of that when it happened and when I read your post it was right where the chef was letting the woman, the Russian guy and a few others out of that room. The Chef was a huge part of that whole thing. Obviously you know that.

Not a big deal, but it was a dick thing to do.

By the way, whether you know all about it or not, that was a really good watch. Most of the characters seemed like the real people and it was pretty graphic at times (Killings looked real).

My mom died 5 days short of a month before that happened and I was just getting started on my "business divorce", and I wasn't keeping up with anything. I hadn't watched a football game or even heard a score to a football game that whole season. I vaguely remember hearing about some terrorist attack in India.

I'm a bit confused - I haven't seen the movie, but I've read the synopsis, etc. Everything I've read says that the chef lived. (Certainly other major characters died.)

I thought Rusty was just making a dumb joke. Or was he correct after all?

Let's talk about salads (not tossed salads, @Behr--calm down). What is your favorite? Normally, I'm a traditional boring house salad type of guy, but I also enjoy trying new types from time to time. I recently tried a "southwestern" style salad with chipotle ranch dressing and it was delicious!

Despite your owning dick moves, Richard III, you have my sympathies on the passing of your mother. Before you post that you DGAF for my sympathy, I've read enough of your posts to anticipate this and take it as a given. Glad you enjoyed the movie. The real life chef was heroic.

I shouldn't have mentioned my mom, I only did because that was part of the reason I didn't know anything about such a big world event. Ive talked about my mom before in this thread with Volly and didn't think about it.

I said it wasn't a big deal and that should have been enough. Who talks about a main character in a movie dying, whether he does or not, to someone who's watching it? I mean seriously, I wouldn't even do that to you.

Whatever, we needed some drama around here so something had to be done.

Caesar is my favorite, if it's made from scratch.
