I usually do a rib roast on New Years... but decided to try a crock pot stew tonight. Spuds, 5 lbs of beef roast cubed, celery, carrots, onion and then more onions, garlic and more garlic. Then added beef and water juices... set for 8 hrs. Sampling now, and it is hitting the marks.

Greens resemble folding paper money. Beans, peas & fish scales resemble coins. Pork is for progress. The menu is about good fortune in the coming year.
