Did stop by Elbo Room for a drink this afternoon. Got some bikes at hotel and went north a couple miles. Ate at Primanti Brothers for lunch.

For those wondering, no leopard print bikini for me today. The beachgoers were spared.

Edit: I hope I didn’t sound mean. It’s been a long week and it’s only freaking Wednesday? I’m up waiting to put the Turkey in for a slow roast and I’m exhausted. I’ve about talked myself in to sneaking out early to get a precooked Turkey and be standing over it, basting it as everyone arrives.

If you’re into sharing clothes, please if any pictures are made, wait until after the first of the year to share and a warning ahead of time would be great. Otherwise Soucie or one them will have them spread all over social media. (I hope Mrs. BigOrangeMojo is feeling well enough to enjoy tomorrow ). About time for me to put the da*n Turkey in the oven.

She did find out they won the RFP that she presented and she got some long term direction with her interim gig. That gave her some pep in her step here.

I remember reading that you said she has been feeling sluggish. Poor girl (everyone is considered a youngster by my, err, advanced age). Kiss her on the cheek for me and tell her I consider her a strong woman for what’s she’s been through and I hope she gets to enjoy tomorrow. I know she has to feel driven to be focused in her professional career. By the way I still haven’t put the da*n Turkey in the oven. I read the time an hour earlier than it was. Crap.

Orders from my mother . It’s cooking at a slow roasting and have my alarm set to check on it before the rooster crows. Have I mentioned she’s driving me crazy?

Bird is finally shoved into the oven. Alcohol will be needed in large quantities tomorrow after everyone leaves. I will enjoy my family and especially my grandchildren first, and that will be a highlight, but as one of our former residents used to tell me “Jenny, I can always tell how tired you are. Your hair becomes more wild as the week goes on, you need to do something about that” .
