That is the biggest crock of crap I have seen. :realmad:

Parys a second team......Mahelona an "honerable mention". What a load of crap.

I agree. You can't tell me there are 6 d-tackles better than Mahelona in the SEC.

How ironic is it that the one first teamer that we got was on offense?!?!

Heh, just like all year... Harrell, Haralson, and Hall benefit from other team's double teaming Mahelona. Those three make it and Mahelona is just an honorable mention.

if you had a 8-3 or 9-2 record they would have been there. They are quality players but the records also dictate who makes it for the most part. When was the last time a heisman winner played on a mediocre team?

They looked fairly mediocre against Kansas State, LSU, and the next year against USC.

Like I've said before, I had OU winning both of those games, so I may have some unbiased, harsh feelings for them.

Record has little to do with it. Look at the other losing teams that have players listed.

It's a load. I'm sorry but those mentioned had spectacular seasons. Put ANY of those other teams' players in as long as these guys spent in the game and tell me they'd last as long as our guys and still make key plays. Haralson and Herrell themselves were wrecking crews.

you might be the best but if the group does not live up to expectations you do not look as great. I am not disrespecting the players. The preseason hype of UT I think hurt these players chances of looking as stellar.

How about Paul Hornung in 1956? John Majors was runnerup. That was the first SHAFT. The second was courtesy of CPF!!
