All In or All out

I am so tired every year saying wait until next year. We need to either get in the football business or get out of football all together. Just need a little more time. I really think the University of Tennessee deserves more than a mid level coach from La Tech. How many years does the BS need to continue ? I have supported Dooley from from day one. Don't even care much anymore until we decide that money is no object and we go out to get the best coach in the business, not a daddy's son with a name of long ago. Yes, I realize that nobody wanted the job when Dooley accepted it but I cannot believe it is that way now. Sure Dooley has made improvements but the l's are still greater than the w's !!! Slam me if you must, I am to old to care now !!! Also, I am extremely tired of being made fun of week after week by the ESPN Gameday bunch. You say root for another team. My reply, I don't want too !!! When the opposition has receivers standing in the end zone waiting for the ball , with no defender in sight, something is wrong with this picture. Now, let me make everyone a little bit madder . I would give anything if Kiffin had stayed at Tennessee.

Kevin Sumlin wanted the job. Hamilton picked Dooley instead bc he was just so "organized".

Football forum is that way
<------

Not even a mention of recruiting in the recruiting forum. You could have at least tried

I think he put it here so we can stop worrying about recruiting future players because he wants the University of Tennesee to discontinue their football program. Sounds reasonable, right?

Kiffin= great recruiter but just a decent coach. I want a good/great coach.

I have mixed feelings about that. He coached us good enough that (1) we made it to a bowl game. (2) We beat Alabama had it not been for Lincoln's sore leg (3) We hung with Florida.

However; Va Tech blew us out and Ole Miss did too.

He lost to UCLA too. And he's over there getting beat by Dave Shaw year after year now. Rich Rod has already handled business against him too. He's so dumb for leaving seeing that the schollie limits would kill a defense. And he should be getting a little fire under his seat after another loss today.

Kevin Sumlin should've gotten the nod over Dooley. At least he had a winning record. Apparently it was all smoke and mirrors on the organization thing b/c the last thing I would call a Dooley coached team is organized.

That was BS by Hamilton. Sumlin's track record was far ahead of Dooley. He had been a coordinator before too at a high profile school.

Sumlin is twice the football coach. I was hoping he would get the job.

I assure you, it was dough, or lack thereof that won Dooley. Sumlin was looking to get paid and deservedly so, after his Houston success. Dooley, mediocre Louisianna Tech tenure while being the AD, father having history in the SEC, I am sure was on the mind of Hamilton. Sumlin was too big of a risk at the time to fork over big dollars. ESPECIALLY, with the fact Hamilton needed an answer RIGHT THEN. IMO:peace2:

Sumlin makes 2 million right now at A&M. Money was not the issue.
